Thewa is a traditional Rajasthani art in which minute handiwork is done in gold on coloured glasses. To work on this art, first a design is made on thin gold foil. Glass is then cleaned and casted in moulds by heating and acids. Then a silver frame is made and gold plated. Thereafter, gold design made on glass is fixed on glass mould.
